FENDI

The house of FENDI was established by Adele and Edoardo FENDI in Rome in 1925. The opening of the first FENDI boutique – a handbag shop and fur workshop – followed. Soon winning international acclaim, FENDI emerged as a brand renowned for its elegance, craftsmanship, innovation and style.

The collaboration with the late iconic couturier Karl Lagerfeld began back in 1965 and lasted 54 years. In 1992 Silvia Venturini Fendi seconded him in the Artistic Direction. In 1994 she was given responsibility of Leather Goods Accessories and then the direction of the Menswear line. In 2000 the LVMH Group acquired FENDI, becoming in 2001 its majority shareholder.

In September 2020 Kim Jones was appointed Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear, while Delfina Delettrez Fendi, fourth generation of the Fendi family, joined the Maison as Artistic Director of Jewellery. Today FENDI is synonymous with quality, tradition, experimentation and creativity.

MARCO COSTANZI ARCHITECTS

Born in Imola in 1965, Marco Costanzi earned his degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Florence. In 1992, he established his architectural firm, Costanzi Bedeschi Architects, and later, in 2006, he founded Marco Costanzi Architects. Commencing his professional journey with projects encompassing residences and showrooms, Costanzi has evolved to become a prolific designer.

Over the years, Marco Costanzi has conceptualized and executed a multitude of projects, including shops, showrooms, homes, and offices, primarily situated in Italy. However, his portfolio also proudly showcases significant ventures abroad. The genesis of founding an architectural firm was not only rooted in individual expertise but also driven by a quest for spatial exploration. The fusion of a daring spirit and an authentic sense of curiosity laid the foundation for a trajectory that underscores a perceptual philosophy and a resolute awareness of choices.

Costanzi’s exploration of architecture is shaped by a dynamic interplay between the sensory dimension of each project, characterized by a play of similarities and contrasts, and a commitment to spatial essentiality. Seeking equilibrium in gestures influenced by art, his work emphasizes the sensual experience of space. Throughout his extensive body of work, light assumes a pivotal role, transforming into both a material for experimentation and a guiding force in the intricate design process.

From private gardens and exclusive residential buildings to commercial premises, hotels and restaurants, golf courses and public parks, Enea has completed over 1,000 projects across Europe, Asia, and North and South America.

Enea’s trademark is to design exteriors and interiors that flow into each other, so that architecture and nature merge symbiotically. Enea works with acclaimed architects, including Antonio Citterio, David Chipperfield, Rem Koolhaas, Bjarke Ingels, Herzog & de Meuron, Sou Fujimoto, and Zaha Hadid. At Klagenfurt football stadium, Enzo Enea staged the ’For Forest’ temporary art installation, and at ArtBasel 2023, he created ’Treetopia–’ a forest of the future installation in the heart of the fair. In 1998, the acclaimed Chelsea Flower Show in London presented the company with the Newcomer Award. Enzo Enea’s most cherished project is the Enea Tree Museum in Rapperswil-Jona, which is unique worldwide.

Founded in 2010, this open-air museum of ’rescued’ trees highlights the way in which landscape, architecture, art and design are integrally combined. Those who visit the Enea headquarters can view the Tree Museum, the outdoor pot gallery, featuring historic terracotta and stone garden pots from antiquity and the Renaissance to Enea’s trademark designs made of Italian stone, as well as a showroom displaying high-quality design and a carefully selected array of some of the world’s best garden furniture. The on-site Enea Lab provides space for innovative design and horticulture ideas to flourish.
